Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 is a Windows x64 (64-bit) only operating system and is the latest Windows Server version.Support of the E-Business Suite on this platform is achieved by a two-step process of migrating the Oracle Database first (as documented in the 11gR2 Database Tier Only Platform note), and then migrating the application tier using the process documented in the R12 Rapid Clone note. These steps and all requirements are outlined here: The operating systems certified on this platform are:
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter
