RE: Change accounting method from encumbrance accrual to standard accrual - ajkhan80 - 02-23-2015 Hi Gopal, I didn't experience such business where Accounting Method was changed from encumbrance to accrual but I shared my understanding for maximum things to be checked before execution of this change. - One more thing, it is also world wide business practice that such changes are made at the Beginning of and Accounting Year, the most appropriate business practice. - I don't see any major impact, but as it is very major change, a policy level change, please consult with Oracle Documentation as well, if possibly available. -If you need any area to share and discuss please reply.
