EBS 12.2: Getting Started Flowchart and Go-Live Readiness Checklist https://blogs.ora
New announcement By Robert Farrington-Oracle on May 11, 2015 through Steven Chan Blog

There is a lot of EBS 12.2 documentation.  The best place to get a high-level overview of what is involved in implementing EBS 12.2 can be found here: We've updated this document, which now includes:
  • Technical Planning Guide
  • Navigational flowchart
  • Go-live checklist
The Technical Planning Guide helps you identify what you need to think about as you prepare to install or upgrade to Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 and its most significant new feature, Online Patching.

Our new navigational flowchart shows you the detailed steps you need to take when moving to Release 12.2 from several different starting points:
  • Performing a fresh installation
  • Upgrading from a Release 11i or pre-12.2 Release 12.x system
  • Upgrading from a Release 12.2.x system to Release 12.2.4
The go-live checklist helps you identify and meet the high-level requirements for a successful go-live.  Checks include operating system requirements, install and upgrade process fundamentals, database and Oracle Fusion Middleware patches, and critical performance fixes. To help ensure success, we recommend proceeding with your go-live only after you have met these essential requirements.
